PURPOSE, DUTIES, AND AUTHORITY OF PASTORAL COUNCIL (also known as Parish Council)
The Pastoral Council typically meets the second Thursday of January, March, June, and November at 6:30PM, with the Annual Meeting occurring in the Fall after Sunday Mass.
It is the representative body of St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Congegation, and advisory to the Pastor. It deliberates in all matters pertaining to the pastoral, spiritual, social, and educational affairs of the parish. The Council facilitates parish planning, and serves as a coordinating body for all organizations and group activities within the parish.
The Council encourages members of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish to attend Council meetings, and the Annual Meeting.
